What a Art Buyer actually does

A art buyer is hired to own a slice of work neighbouring titles cannot fake on paper.

Studios, in-house brand teams, media houses, and remote clients hire on the work, then on whether you can take a brief. Africa-to-global freelance is common. Put the craft in the portfolio and the outcomes on the resume.

On a Art Buyer resume, African and remote hiring teams look for production cost versus estimate. Put that in the top third. Do not open with a personality paragraph. Do not invent a growth rate or salary band you cannot source.

Contact on a Art Buyer resume

  1. 01

Name, city, phone with country code, professional email.

  2. 02

A portfolio URL that loads on a phone.

  3. 03

LinkedIn or Behance. One is enough if the work is there.

A Art Buyer summary that earns the next line

Two or three sentences. Title, years, the environments you know, and one result. Then rewrite it in your voice. This is a shape, not a script to paste with someone else’s years.

“Art Buyer with 8+ years across African and remote teams. Known for production cost versus estimate. Comfortable with editing or layout, art direction, brand systems. Looking for an art buyer seat where that work is the job, not a side task.”

Art Buyer KPIs and OKRs that belong on a resume

KPIs are the numbers a manager already tracks. OKRs are bets you owned. Either can live in a bullet if you can defend it. Neither belongs as a fake salary or a regional growth statistic.

KPIs

  • engagement or completion on shipped work
  • brand consistency
  • production cost versus estimate

OKRs

  • Ship a system other people can use.
  • Cut average revision rounds on a named client without lowering craft.
  • Turn one case study into inbound briefs you can name.
