What a Lead Trade Marketing Manager actually does

A lead trade marketing manager is hired to own a slice of work neighbouring titles cannot fake on paper.

Growth, brand, and sales seats are opening in fintech, commerce, NGOs, and agencies that sell into several countries at once. English (and French, where true) is part of the job. The resume should show channels, budget, and a result, not a list of platforms you have logged into.

On a Lead Trade Marketing Manager resume, African and remote hiring teams look for win rate. Put that in the top third. Do not open with a personality paragraph. Do not invent a growth rate or salary band you cannot source.

Contact on a Lead Trade Marketing Manager resume

01
Name, city and country, phone with country code, professional email.
02
A live campaign, deck, or writing sample if you can share it.
03
LinkedIn. Match the title you want next, then prove it in bullets.

A Lead Trade Marketing Manager summary that earns the next line

Two or three sentences. Title, years, the environments you know, and one result. Then rewrite it in your voice. This is a shape, not a script to paste with someone else’s years.

“Lead Trade Marketing Manager with 8+ years across African and remote teams. Known for win rate. Comfortable with landing pages, attribution, creative briefing. Looking for a lead trade marketing manager seat where that work is the job, not a side task.”

Lead Trade Marketing Manager KPIs and OKRs that belong on a resume

KPIs are the numbers a manager already tracks. OKRs are bets you owned. Either can live in a bullet if you can defend it. Neither belongs as a fake salary or a regional growth statistic.

KPIs

organic sessions
email revenue or MQL rate
win rate

OKRs

Turn one content series into inbound pipeline you can name.
Build a monthly report leadership actually opens.
Cut CAC on one paid channel without dropping qualified volume.

How to describe Lead Trade Marketing Manager experience

Reverse chronological. Achievements first. If a line could sit on anyone’s CV in the building, cut it.
