What a Junior Brand Identity Designer actually does

A junior brand identity designer is hired to own a slice of work neighbouring titles cannot fake on paper.

Studios, in-house brand teams, media houses, and remote clients hire on the work, then on whether you can take a brief. Africa-to-global freelance is common. Put the craft in the portfolio and the outcomes on the resume.

On a Junior Brand Identity Designer resume, African and remote hiring teams look for revision rounds. Put that in the top third. Do not open with a personality paragraph. Do not invent a growth rate or salary band you cannot source.

Contact on a Junior Brand Identity Designer resume

01
Name, city, phone with country code, professional email.
02
A portfolio URL that loads on a phone.
03
LinkedIn or Behance. One is enough if the work is there.

A Junior Brand Identity Designer summary that earns the next line

Two or three sentences. Title, years, the environments you know, and one result. Then rewrite it in your voice. This is a shape, not a script to paste with someone else’s years.

“Junior Brand Identity Designer with 5+ years across African and remote teams. Known for revision rounds. Comfortable with rights and usage, production schedules, Adobe CC or equivalent. Looking for a junior brand identity designer seat where that work is the job, not a side task.”

Junior Brand Identity Designer KPIs and OKRs that belong on a resume

KPIs are the numbers a manager already tracks. OKRs are bets you owned. Either can live in a bullet if you can defend it. Neither belongs as a fake salary or a regional growth statistic.

KPIs

production cost versus estimate
on-time delivery
revision rounds

OKRs

Cut average revision rounds on a named client without lowering craft.
Turn one case study into inbound briefs you can name.
Ship a system other people can use.
